JACK AND KATIE

Jack (12) and Katie (10 ¾) – two of Clive’s grandchildren, have been coming along most Thursdays during school holidays for the last 3 years. They are learning to use tools properly. Jack has used the bandsaw and the pillar drill and Katie the fretsaw – under supervision!

Jack made a steam loco for his Cub Hobbies Badge and has recently carved his own Harry Potter-type wand and a walking stick.

Katie has carved a name plate, cut lots of badges on the fretsaw and is currently carving a horse to pull a model gypsy caravan.
